Saturday at OBF

The Oregon Brewer's Festival is four days long, making it much less of a sprint than most festivals. With 81 or so beers, at $1 for a four ounce pour, you really can't enjoy all the "new" beers you've never had before in one sitting without ending up in a world of hurt. One guy we saw last year started *very* early and was passed out in his own sick by 3pm the first day. Over the past couple days we've tried most of the beers that are unknown to us and figured exotic beer (unavailable where we live) is most important.

We're going to skip the festival today (Saturday) due to the extreme heat and the inevitable inundation of college kids that make traversing the festival nearly impossible. It was worth coming just for Thursday and Friday; smaller crowds, fresher beer, cooler temperatures.

Beer is best enjoyed in moderation.
